BONUS MODELS FOR LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT 2.0 (8547)

BONUS MODELS FOR LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT 2.0 (8547): "#1 M.O.R.P.H. – made by Kirk Backstrom.

As part of the development of the new NXT 2.0 set a group of both children and adults have been involved in the process since 2007, and have given their inputs to the new set, and have helped with new ideas and inspiration for models.

Fans of LEGO from across the globe have been working with the LEGO MINDSTORMS development team in a closed forum, getting to see elements, hardware and software early on.

These fans have been part of MINDSTORMS Community Partners, which is the group for adult fans, or the JMDP, which stands for Junior MINDSTORMS Developer Program. And they have created some special models that will be made available here on MINDSTORMS.com. The first 10 models will have building instructions and programs to go with it.

The first model to be featured is made by Kirk Backstrom, from Saskatchewan, Canada. Please look at the video and materials that Kirk has put together for you to see!

Please note that all building instructions for the 10 bonus models will be available as LEGO Digital Designer (LDD) files, as they are posted.
Kirk has made the building instructions for his model, with the use of another program. His model will also be available in an LDD format.
